SCHOOLS/WORK FAQ

Pricing & Booking

How does pricing work?

No booking fee. School Platoon is $49/head flat. Work/Crew Platoon is $49/head standard, or $59/head for our Full Experience — most groups upgrade, it's genuinely worth it. Both cover groups of 15 or more.

What if we're under 15 players?

You'll book as one of our private Squads instead — see the Squads FAQ. Give us a call and we'll point you to the right size.

What if we're a really big group — 25+?

Get in touch directly. Groups above 25 run as two teams rather than one big game, for safety and coverage reasons — we'll talk you through how that works for your numbers.

Can we book on a Saturday?

Work/Crew and School Platoon bookings run weekdays only — this keeps our weekend availability open for private group bookings. If a weekend is genuinely the only option for your team, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

Is there a winter discount?

Yes — $50 off any package during our winter season. No separate price list, just $50 off whatever you'd normally pay.

What To Expect

What fitness level do I need?

Any fitness level — we've accommodated players in wheelchairs too. If rough ground could be an issue, give us a call before booking so we can plan around it. Let staff know about any medical conditions, and bring any medication you might need.

What should I wear?

Sturdy footwear is a must. Loose, comfortable clothing you don't mind getting muddy works best — long sleeves and pants are great, just nothing too hot. We provide a camo cover shirt, and overalls if you'd like them.

What do I need to bring?

Sturdy footwear, a water bottle, and any medication you need. Everything else is included. On a cold or wet day, bring a jacket and a towel.

How long does a session run?

Around 2-2.5 hours for platoon-sized groups, including a full safety briefing. You'll play across two very different fields — our forest field for tactical play, and our fast-paced Urban Ops field for high-intensity action.

Does the paint wash out?

Yes, easily — for porous fabrics a whitener may help.

Policies & Facilities

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel 72+ hours ahead for a full refund. Reschedules need 24+ hours' notice, can be moved up to a year out, and are limited to twice a year — each reschedule adds $50 to your deposit.

What happens in bad weather?

We play through most weather. If you'd rather reschedule, let us know at least 3 hours before your booking — same reschedule terms as above apply.

Can you bring your own gear?

Yes — your own marker is welcome as long as it's under 220fps. Standard rates apply.

Do you take photos?

Our staff grab photos and video where they can — great for a team page or social post afterward. We can't guarantee full coverage, so feel free to bring your own camera too.

Where are you located?

Eastern Hutt Rd, Pomare, Lower Hutt — opposite Pomare Train Station, above the car park.

What facilities do you have?

A ready-room for briefings, a covered area for food afterward, and a port-a-loo on site year-round. We're on reserve land with no plumbed facilities, so bring cups, serviettes and hand sanitiser if you're eating after.

Do you have EFTPOS?
